Third Worship Service Planned to Begin October 29
As we have sought to fulfill God’s vision for our church, "To Know Christ and to Make Him Known," the need has arisen to add space for more people to join us in worship. Once a sanctuary is around 80% full, new people start to feel that there may not be room for them. We want to make room for people to come and hear the Good News of Jesus Christ. So we will start a new service of worship on Sunday, October 29 at 9:45 AM in our sanctuary. This service will be very similar to our existing services, but with a bit more of a “blended” flavor. What that means is that we will sing traditional hymns, as Ephesians 5:19 says, “be filled with the Holy Spirit, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs among yourselves, and making music to the Lord in your hearts.” And, we will also sing some newer praise songs, as we read in Psalms 96 and 98, “Sing a new song to the LORD!”
